Rangko Cave (Goa Rangko) is a spectacular ocean cavern near Labuan Bajo, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise saltwater pool that glows when sunlight hits it. It offers a unique natural swimming experience where the high salt content allows you to float effortlessly while surrounded by ancient limestone stalactites.

Best Time for the "Glow": Arrive between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. This specific window is when sunlight enters the cave mouth at the perfect angle to illuminate the pool.

Silvia Hill or Bukit Silvia.

Sylvia Hill (Bukit Sylvia) is the most famous sunset viewpoint in Labuan Bajo, offering a 360-degree panorama of the rolling savanna hills and the many islands of the Komodo archipelago. It is often referred to as the "Teletubbies Hill" because of its smooth, green (or golden-brown in the dry season) mounds.

The Sunset Experience

• The View: You get a clear shot of the sun dipping into the Flores Sea, with the silhouettes of boats and distant islands like Seraya and Bidadari in the background.
• Golden Hour: Aim to arrive by 5:00 PM. The sun usually sets between 5:45 PM and 6:15 PM.
• The Hike: It is a short but steep 10-15 minute walk to the summit. The path is dirt and can be slippery when dry, so take your time.
