Day 1. Sembalun Village to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun)
- 08:30 AM: Register at the Rinjani Information Center (RIC).
- Activity: Trek 7–8 hours through open savanna.
- Challenge: The final climb via “Seven Hills” (Bukit Penyesalan) to the crater rim at 2,639m.
- Highlight: Sunset over the crater lake and a hot dinner at the rim.
Day 2. Summit Push & Descent to Segara Anak Lake
- 02:30 AM: Begin the steep, 3-hour climb to the Rinjani Summit (3,726m) for sunrise.
- Morning: Return to the crater rim for breakfast, then descend 3 hours to the lake (2,000m).
- Highlight: Afternoon soaking in the Aik Kalak Hot Springs, just 100m from the campsite.
Day 3. Segara Anak Lake to Torean Valley Camp
- Morning: A relaxed start; you can enjoy fishing or exploring the lakeside.
- Activity: Trek 4–5 hours into the Torean valley.
- Highlight: Dramatic scenery including Penimbungan Waterfall and narrow cliff side paths that resemble prehistoric landscapes. Overnight camp in the valley or Propok area.
Day 4. Torean Valley to Torean Village
- Morning: Final descent (5–6 hours) through lush tropical rain forest.
- 02:00 PM: Arrive at Torean Village (600m) to end the trek.
- Logistics: Transfer back to Senaru for luggage retrieval or directly to your next destination.

- Physical Training. Focus on stair training (300–500 steps) and leg strength (squats, lunges) at least 4–8 weeks prior. The ascent involves gaining over 1,800m in a single day, which is physically demanding for beginners.
- Acclimatize. Spend at least one night in Senaru Village (601m) before starting your trek to help your body adjust to the altitude and prevent early fatigue.

- Leave No Trace. Mount Rinjani faces significant litter issues. Carry a small trash bag for your own waste and support operators who follow zero-waste practices
