Please read the Komodo Terms and Policy before making a booking with Lombok Travel Agent. Reviewing these guidelines ensures a smooth booking process and prevents any misunderstandings.

How to Make a Reservation – Komodo Terms Policy.

  • Inquire: Submit your request through our website booking form, email us at info@lomboktravelagent.com, or message us on WhatsApp.
  • Confirmation: We will send your booking confirmation via email or WhatsApp.
  • Deposit: Secure your booking by sending the required deposit payment.
  • Receipt: You will receive a formal payment confirmation once the deposit is processed.

Required Details for National Park Registration

To register your trip to Komodo National park, please provide the following documents:

  • Foreign Visitors: A clear copy or photo of your passport.
  • Indonesian Citizens: A copy of your Indonesian ID card (KTP).

Arrival & Pick-Up Coordination

Please share your arrival schedule at Labuan Bajo airport (LOP) or any hotel in Labuan Bajo to coordinate your complimentary pick-up service.

Step 1: Confirm Your Reservation

To secure your booking, please complete the following two steps:

A. Passport Copy (or Indonesian ID)

We require a copy of each traveler’s passport (or KTP for Indonesian citizens) to register your trip to Komodo National Park. This ensures all your details are correct for the official permit. Please email a scanned copy or a clear photo of your passport information page as soon as possible.

B. Deposit Payment

A deposit is required to secure your spot and allow us to prepare for your trip. The minimum deposit is 30% of the total tour price. Your reservation will be officially confirmed as soon as the deposit payment is received and processed.

Step 2: Provide Your Arrival Details

To ensure a smooth pickup and a hassle-free start to your trip, please send us your arrival information at least 2 days before your arrival date in Labuan Bajo.

Step 3: Finalize and Complete

Once we receive your arrival details, we will finalize all your transport and travel arrangements to ensure a seamless experience.

Terms of Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • Price Validity. Prices are valid from April 1 to December 31, 2026.
  • Deposit Requirement. A 30% deposit must be paid within 24 hours of receiving your invoice to secure and confirm your booking.
  • Payment Channels. Deposit payments can be processed securely via Bank Transfer or PayPal.
  • Transaction Fees. Any associated bank transfer or processing fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Remaining Balance. The remaining 70% balance must be settled upon arrival in cash (USD, IDR, or AUD) or via Visa/MasterCard/Debit Card (subject to a 3% card surcharge).
  • Payment Proof. After completing any transfer, please send a screenshot or photo of the receipt to our staff for quick verification.

Deposit Payment Methods

We offer two secure options to pay your deposit:

1. Bank Transfer

You can transfer the deposit amount directly to our corporate bank account. If you choose this option, we will reply with our full banking details (including IBAN/SWIFT code).

2. PayPal

If you prefer using PayPal, we will send a secure payment link directly to your email address. (Please note: PayPal payments may incur a standard processing fee).

Please let us know your preferred method, and we will send you the corresponding payment details.

What Happens After the Deposit Is Received?

Once your deposit is processed, we will immediately:

  • Send you an official Payment Receipt and booking voucher via email or WhatsApp.
  • Purchase your official Komodo National Park trekking permits (Siora).
  • Lock in your hotel room and assign your trekking guide and porters.

Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

  1. Non-Refundable Deposits. All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits are immediately used to secure logistics and purchase non-refundable Komodo National Park entrance permits.
  2. Rescheduling Policy. No date changes are allowed once your official national park tickets have been issued. If you need to change your trip dates after ticket purchase, you will be required to pay the full cost of new tickets in accordance with national park regulations.
  3. Force Majeure / Park Closures. No refunds or reschedules will be granted under any circumstances, except if Komodo is officially closed by the government due to force majeure or natural disasters (e.g., volcanic activity). In this specific event, a refund may be processed, but please note that processing times vary and cannot be issued immediately.
  4. Late Cancellations. Cancellations made on the scheduled trekking departure date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee, and the full remaining balance must be paid.

Medical Information & Requirements

  • Physical Fitness. Komodo trip is a demanding trip. All participants must be in good physical health and medically fit to climb.
  • Special Requirements. Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) so our team can prepare your meals and logistics accordingly.
  • Personal Medication. Trekkers are responsible for bringing their own personal medical supplies and first-aid kits (including bandages, pain relievers, blister pads, and personal prescriptions).

About the itinerary Komodo National Park.

To ensure you have the best experience within Komodo National Park’s new conservation guidelines (1,000 visitors per day), please note that:

  1. Our itineraries may be adjusted.
  2. While we always aim for the classic route, we may visit the beautiful Kenawa Island if Padar Island reaches its daily limit.
  3. Since tickets sell out quickly—especially for shared trips—we kindly recommend booking as early as possible to secure your spot in the park!”

About the Boat and Engine Noise:

  • Please note that the boat’s generator will operate at night to provide electricity for lighting and air circulation.
  • Most boats do not have full sound insulation, so you may hear some engine or generator noise in your cabin, especially at night.
  • This is completely normal for live aboard boats in Komodo.
  • For a more comfortable sleep, we recommend bringing earplugs or listening to soft music through your headset.

Boat Engine and Replacement Policy – Komodo terms policy.

Engine Failure or Technical Issues:

  • All boats are operated and maintained regularly to ensure guest safety and comfort.
  • In rare cases where the boat engine experiences a technical failure, we will immediately arrange an alternative boat to continue your trip.
  • If such a situation arises before departure (for example, one day prior to the trip), our team will contact you promptly and provide several available boat options that align with your schedule.
  • Each replacement boat may have different facilities and price levels, so the final trip cost will be adjusted accordingly based on the new boat selection.
  • We always prioritize your comfort and safety, and every replacement will be arranged in coordination with you to ensure a smooth experience.

Limitation of Liability – Komodo terms policy.

Lombok Travel Agent acts solely as an intermediary for transportation companies, hotels, local guides, and third-party contractors involved in our itineraries. We accept no responsibility or liability for any personal injury, illness, property damage, loss of life, schedule changes, delays, or irregularities caused by factors beyond our control.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

  • Comprehensive Coverage. We strongly advise all visitor to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departing their home country.
  • Protection. Your policy should cover trip cancellation, medical evacuation and personal injury.
  • Financial Liability. Lombok Travel Agent is not responsible for any financial losses or expenses incurred due to personal illness, injury, flight delays, or unforeseen travel disruptions if you choose to trek without adequate insurance.

Final Agreement

  • Please review these Terms & Cancellation Policies carefully before submitting your payment.
  • By completing your deposit payment, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions outlined above.
  • After transferring your deposit, please send the proof of payment to our staff immediately to finalize your booking.
